May 19, 2020 (Los Angeles, CA) – Epic Games has awarded Nira.app a cash grant as part of the Epic MegaGrants program. The MegaGrant will be used to further expand Nira’s toolset, and adds to a growing list of accolades, including being selected to the 2019 Siggraph Real-Time Live! and Appy Hour programs.
Nira.app is a digital asset management platform with a full range of tools that helps design teams and developers share high-resolution 3D models and rich media to better communicate and collaborate.
“Epic is not only an incredible technological and creative force, but also an extremely generous company to offer us this grant” said Nira co-founder Andrew Johnson.
“We are honored to be supported by one of the leading names in our industry” said fellow Nira co-founder Dario Manesku.
“Epic has long established themselves as leaders in making tools many artists use everyday to create some of the most impressive AAA games,” said fellow Nira co-founder Arash Keissami. “It is an honor to be aligned with another company that is so dedicated to making great technology and tools. I’ve been using tools developed by Epic for over 20 years, and it’s exciting to see their continued growth and our fit within their ecosystem.”
